Monday Update #4 - Back to normalcy

Alright, now that Keep Looking Up is out of the way - and, good news, it was our most popular game yet - we're going back to our earlier project before we got a bit sidetracked. Honestly, it's still a bit too early in development to REALLY show anything off, so I'll leave you with just a couple small screenshots.

Monday Update #3 - Keep Looking Up is finally released!

Yup, it's here, in all of it's about-3-hours-long-depending-on-your-skill-level glory!

Keep Looking Up is a puzzle-platformer...

Well, can you call it a platformer if you can't jump?

Keep Looking Up is a puzzle game with platforming elements that places you in the shoes of a young pixie, the only healthy pixie left after a plague hit all of your town. Humans threw the pixies down a hole centuries ago, and built a labyrinth to keep them trapped down there. It is your task to traverse the dangers of the labyrinth, while navigating a power struggle between the two dungeon guardians, the rude but logical Error, and the helpful but wishy-washy Scrawl. Hopefully, a cure awaits you on the surface. But is there even a surface anymore?

Get to the bottom (or is it the top?) of the mystery and find a cure for your kind in Keep Looking Up!

Just a progress check, really - Monday Update #2

KLU is coming along nicely, we've got 2 of the 3 endings finished, all that's left is a final boss fight, the 3rd ending finished up, and some polish. Should be finished by the next Monday Update.

We had to drop out of that game jam. What with the time being spent on KLU, and the time needed to get the resources we would need for our idea, we just wouldn't have been able to finish on time. Next time, maybe.

Well, that's pretty much it for this week. Hopefully, next week, we'll have the game ready. Jerome's making a trailer, too, so watch out for that!

Happy Fourth of July! - Monday Update #1

Heya! Ethan here.

Happy Fourth of July, for those of you who celebrate it. Otherwise, good morning! Having a good day?

So, I wasn't able to get quiiiiiite so much done this week as I would have liked to. My mouse broke, so I got a new one, and this new one is even less functional than the old one. Haven't been able to get a new one yet. It's only barely functional, so I've had to resort to using MouseKeys. It's very unwieldy. Blech.

But, I will tell you one thing. We entered a game jam. We've got a game already planned out for it. I'll link you all to it:

Luckily, it doesn't start for a while, so we should be able to, at least mostly, finish up our... other project. Alright, fine, I won't keep it a secret anymore. This IS your surprise, after all...

We've got a demo for you here! I did a sneaky little title drop last week: It's called Keep Looking Up. It's just a demo of a few levels, nothing too fancy, but hopefully you'll all enjoy it. I know we've enjoyed making it, so far! It's a good mile or so ahead of everything we've made to date...
